The UW System is promoting America Saves Week, February 22 - 26, to support your financial goals for 2021. Visit the UW System America Saves Week website to register for events, including over a dozen live webinars on topics like retirement, savings, and budgeting. All events are free with registration.
Are you motivated to start saving for your retirement now? An easy and effective way to save is automatically—set it and forget it—through the UW Tax-Sheltered Annuity (TSA) 403(b) Program.
The TSA program can help you invest for your long-term retirement goals. If you already participate in the program, consider increasing your contributions. If you are not a TSA program participant, sign up today. You can invest a portion of your income for retirement on either a pre-tax basis, after-tax basis (Roth), or a combination of both.
Start Small, Think Big. Remember, when you are getting started, no contribution is too small. Even if you set aside one percent of your salary in the UW TSA 403(b) program, that's an important start. Over time, your contributions will add up. Even small amounts of savings can help you in the future.
