Submit Leave Reports by June 30, 2021

Faculty, Academic Staff and Limited appointees (who have an active leave-eligible appointment) must submit missing leave reports by June 30, 2021 for fiscal year July 2020 through June 2021.

Note: A reminder email is sent monthly to employees who are missing leave reports. The email indicates which months are missing leave reports.

Submission of a leave report is required each month, even when leave is not used. Failure to submit missing leave reports will result in a reduction of your sick leave hours.

How to Check for Missing Leave Reports

 1. Log into the MyUW portal for UW System Institutions or for UW-Madison.

 2. Go to the Time and Absence tile and click Launch full app.

 3. Click on Leave Reports in the left hand navigation.

 4. Review the Missing Leave Report.

 5. To submit any missing leave reports, click on Request Absence in the left hand navigation and follow the prompts.

Furlough Reminder

The entry of furlough does not satisfy the monthly leave reporting requirement. Furlough is not considered leave.

If you have furlough and no leave is taken during the month, you are still required to submit a No Leave Taken entry.
