Summer Prepay Insurance Premium Deductions

Summer Prepay premiums are deducted from spring paychecks to maintain insurance coverage between academic years for employees who do not work one or more months during the summer (contract break) and are expected to return in the fall.

Summer prepay deductions are in addition to regular insurance premium deductions. Employees will receive monthly emails with the estimated summer prepay deduction amounts.

Faculty, academic staff, limited appointees, student assistants and employees-in-training enrolled in State Group Health and other insurance programs will have summer prepay deductions if:
