Each year UW System encourages individuals and families to pause and do a financial check-in. Join us February 27 through March 3 for America Saves Week to get a clear view of your finances, set financial goals, and make a plan to achieve them.
America Saves Week is an annual national campaign that highlights key areas that contribute to financial stability such as saving automatically, preparing for unexpected expenses, retirement and reducing debt.
One effective way to save is to set up automatic savings. Whether you split your direct deposit and funnel a portion of your paycheck into savings, or you set up an automatic transfer through your financial institution, automated savings will help you build a habit of saving.
