Well Wisconsin UW System Employee Participation and Identified Health Risks
June 20, 2023

The goal of the Well Wisconsin Program is to help you be your best self. The program provides tools and resources to help you set your well-being goals, track your progress, and stay motivated throughout the year, resulting in positive changes to your overall health.

In 2022, 35.3 percent of UW System employees and spouses eligible for the Well Wisconsin Program completed a health assessment, health check and well-being activity to earn their $150 well-being incentive. This is a slight decrease from 2021.

For those that earned the incentive in 2022, the primary health risks were body mass index (height to weight ratio), its biological consequences (high cholesterol and blood pressure), nutrition, and sleep. This information helps WebMD, the Well Wisconsin Program administrator, develop well-being activities.

Are you missing out on an opportunity to be more aware of your health?

Earn your $150 incentive in 2023 by completing the health assessment, a health check, and one well-being activity by October 13, 2023. Review the well-being activity options on the WebMD website or through the Wellness at Your Side mobile app (code: SOWI).

For additional information, visit the UW System Well Wisconsin Program web page.

Health information is protected by federal law and will never be shared with the Wisconsin Department of Employee Trust Funds, the group health insurance program, or employers. Review WebMD's Privacy Statement or view this short video for additional information.
